What is it for?
This original Suunto kit allows you to replace the battery of your Vyper Novo or Zoop Novo quickly and safely, restoring the watertight seal of the compartment thanks to the included new O-ring and silicone grease.
Kit contents
- 1 × CR2450 lithium battery (3 V)
- 1 × New O-ring
- 1 × Sachet of silicone grease to lubricate the O-ring
Compatibility
- Compatible models: Suunto Vyper Novo and Suunto Zoop Novo.
- Not compatible with other models (Zoop "classic", Vyper "classic", Gekko, Vyper Air, etc.).
Replacement instructions (summary)
- Work on a clean, dry surface.
- Open the compartment cover, remove the old battery and the used O-ring.
- Clean the O-ring seat, lightly lubricate the new O-ring and fit it without twisting.
- Insert the new CR2450 (correct polarity) and close the cover.
- Perform a watertight check if possible.
Safety and maintenance recommendations
- Replace the battery and O-ring at the same time to maintain the watertight seal.
- Keep fibres, sand or hair away from the O-ring/seat.
- After the change, check in fresh water that no bubbles appear.
- Do not reuse old O-rings.
