Features

First Stage

• When the first stage is not connected to a tank valve, the Automatic Closing Device (ACD) keeps the inlet closed to protect the internal components of the first stage from contamination and corrosive water.
• Preserves internal lubrication

• Its exceptional cold water performance is achieved by upgrading the three anti-freezing properties of Aqualung: Where there is no moisture, there is no ice: the integrated dry chamber of the LEG3ND keeps internal components clean and dry by isolating them from the external environment.
• Deep fins create a large heat exchange surface that helps prevent ice formation on the mechanism (+30% vs. Glacia / +70% vs. Legend 2)
• The new overmolded cover delays ice formation on the external diaphragm
• Overbalanced (also known as superbalanced)
• Progressive increase in working pressure to maintain optimal breathing effort: depending on the diver's depth, the working pressure of the first stage automatically increases to counteract the rise in breathing air density.
• The DIN and Yoke systems with ergonomic design and bimaterial 'Soft Grip' surface provide a better grip when installing or removing the first stage, especially with cold hands.
