Cressi CALIBRO Blue metal brings together a combination of technical advantages that Cressi has been incorporating in recent seasons across various models. It combines great technical performance with a captivating design and medium proportions, both in the frame and the skirt.
Its single-piece frame of reduced thickness, without rims, allows for great lightness (118 g) and a surprising closeness of the lens to the eyes, with the resulting advantages in terms of visibility and reduction of internal volume.
The mask assembly is exclusive and integrates the rims and structure inside the skirt. This system improves the seal of the mask, eliminates any possibility of uncomfortable contact between the frame and the forehead, and removes any view of the central area of the frame from the inside.
Its skirt optimizes dead spaces and reduces the internal volume to just 85 cm³. The lens-to-face distance has been reduced to such an extent that the skirt does not produce the well-known suction-cup effect — it simply rests on the face, providing an optimal seal thanks to its design and the carefully studied thickness-to-rigidity ratio of the silicone.
A subtle silicone membrane located around the nose acts as a deflector so that the warm air coming from the nose when equalizing external pressure does not go directly to the lenses, reducing the tendency to fog up that is common in low-volume masks.
Angled lenses that extend through gentle curved lines above the cheekbones, improving downward visibility. The ultra-thin frame and the carefully studied fit with the delicate area of the frontal bone optimize upward visibility without compromising adaptability.
The buckles, anchored to the frame for optimal mask stability and tension always determined by the user, are fully foldable and pivoting in all directions. Therefore, the possibility of breakage is almost impossible. This type of anchoring also improves the stability of the mask, since the strap tension is applied to a rigid element and movements of the snorkel do not affect the skirt.
Snorkel CORSICA Blue metal
Snorkel Cressi CORSICA Blue metal completely new, initially designed for spearfishing but bringing special qualities that are also suitable for scuba diving or snorkeling.
The snorkel material is polyurethane, especially flexible and with 100% elastic memory after being subjected to bending, folding, or even knotting on itself, even for days.
The cross-section of the snorkel walls has been designed to maintain the necessary rigidity in the area where the mask strap presses, so as not to impair air circulation in this area when used with the mask strap holding it in place.
The mouthpiece, very comfortable, has a design that combines different thicknesses to favor its orientation and relieve tension on the user's jaw. The area in contact with the gums is exceptionally flexible and of minimum thickness. The mouthpiece/snorkel joint is especially secure against possible accidental separation.
