DESCRIPTION
Apeks regulators take on a more attractive appearance without compromising their performance and technical features. With the Apeks XTX 40 Octopus you can adjust the performance of your regulator and prevent free flow, thanks to its venturi sensitivity lever. The Apeks XTX 40 Octopus features a compensated system, thermal exchanger and calibrated venturi control.

FEATURES
- XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used: press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful when more control is required, such as filling lift bags, etc., then press in the center for the full purge effect.
- It can be converted from a right-hand to a left-hand configuration. The process of changing the regulator to a left-hand configuration is quick and simple. However, this procedure MUST ONLY be performed by an authorized APEKS service technician.
- Braided hoses are now standard on all models. These hoses are lighter, more flexible and more durable.
- Suitable for use in cold water (below 10°C / 50°F).
- Compatible with EAN40 from the factory.
- The pneumatically compensated second stage results in smooth and easy breathing.
- The venturi lever is large and has a soft rubber grip, making it easy to locate and use. The lever reduces the amount of sand ingress and therefore resists any possible friction, providing smooth operation.
- Manufactured with active protection against infections, as all molded parts are produced with an MRSA additive, protecting against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also highly effective against viruses, mold, fungus and algae.
- A silicone exhaust valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator.
- The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue.
