What is it for?
This original Suunto kit allows you to replace the battery yourself and restore the watertight seal of the compartment thanks to the included new o-ring and hatch with its retainer. It is the safest way to keep your dive computer up to date without sending it in for service.

- 1 × CR2450 lithium battery (3 V)
- 1 × New o-ring
- 1 × Battery hatch (cover)
- 1 × Battery retainer
Compatibility
- Models: Suunto Zoop, Vyper, Vyper 2, Vyper Air, Vytec, Gekko, Cobra, Cobra 2, Cobra 3 and HelO2.
- Not compatible with Zoop Novo or Vyper Novo (these require a specific kit).
Replacement instructions (summary)
- Work in a clean, dry area.
- Open the hatch, remove the used battery and o-ring.
- Clean the o-ring seat; fit the new o-ring without twisting.
- Insert the CR2450 (correct polarity), place the retainer and close the hatch.
- Perform a leak check if possible.
Safety and maintenance recommendations
- Replace the battery + o-ring + hatch/retainer at the same time to ensure a proper seal.
- Keep fibers, sand or hair away from the o-ring and seat.
- After replacement, check in fresh water that no bubbles appear.
- Do not reuse old o-rings or covers.
