DESCRIPTION
The APEKS RK3 HD ORANGE fins are the latest model in the APEKS RK3 range. Based on one of the first vented rubber fins sold in North America and popular among military and professional divers. They are manufactured with a higher density (HD) than the standard Apeks RK3, making the fin stiffer with negative buoyancy, ideal for diving with a drysuit. The APEKS RK3 HD ORANGE is a thermoplastic rubber fin with an oversized foot pocket, to accommodate drysuit boots, and an elastic strap for easy donning and doffing.
Compact and ultra-resistant for use in demanding environments. Improved foot pocket with spring straps to facilitate use with cold hands or thick gloves. The vented blade design reduces drag on the up-kick and improves thrust on the down-kick. The vents also eliminate the vortices that can occur along the back of the blade, just as split-blade fins do. The blade material of the APEKS RK3 HD ORANGE is designed to withstand the harshest environments and temperatures, and the most demanding conditions.
